Galway has a reputation for artistic creativity and a vibrant atmosphere all year round. Known as the City of the Tribes it is also known as the City Of Festivals and events. From the Galway Food Festival at Easter, the Cuirt Literary Festival in April to action packed July with the Galway Film Fleadh, the renowned Galway International Arts Festival and the unmissable Galway Races. To the Galway International Oyster Festival in September, the Baboró International Arts Festival for Children and the Comedy Festival in October swiftly followed by the Galway Christmas Market from mid-November.
